Srinagar, Nov 23: Security forces busted a militant hideout in the Kunzer area of Baramulla district and recovered incriminating materials, including arms and ammunition.

An official said that the joint operation, conducted by Baramulla Police, Budgam Police, and 62 Rashtriya Rifles, was launched based on credible leads developed during the investigation of FIR No. 150/2024 registered at Police Station Magam.
The search focused on the forested area near the village of Malwa under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kunzer.
The operation led to the discovery of a concealed militant hideout from which incriminating material including a grenade and few rounds of ammunition were recovered. Following the recovery of materials, the site was destroyed in-situ as per legal protocols.
