UDHAMPUR, Dec 22: Udhampur police today seized 30 grams heroin like substance from three narcotic smugglers, who were apprehended at Circular Road, Udhampur.
The trio was apprehended by a patrolling party of Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Vijay Singh Choudhary, under the supervision of Rohit Chadgal, DySP Hqrs. Udhampur and Rajinder Singh Katoch, Addl SP Udhampur.
The identities of these narcotic smugglers were established as Rafaqat Ali alias Pindi, son of Mohd Shafi of Near Sai Baba Mandir, Devika Udhampur, Mudassar son of Latief of Birma Bridge, Udhampur and , Bablu son of Vijay Kumar of Link Road, Udhampur.
In this connection, a case FIR number 644/2020 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation of the case is underway.
