JAMMU, July 25: To participate in Vanoushidi Varta (Herbal Talk) Cum Tree Plantation Programme, the people from various fields of life gathered at New Modern College (NMC) Campus, Sainik Colony, here today.
The programme, which was organized by Van Sampda in collaboration with NMC staff offered a platform for the participants to exchange their experiences and views regarding Herbal plants and Ayurveda.
Each person planted atleast one medicinal plant in the Herbal park in the Campus, which is a new initiative launched by Van Sampda where the NGO will help in creation of Herbal Park in the educational institutions in and around Jammu City.
While Tarun Bahal lauded the efforts of the society in serving the message of traditional methods of improving health by using the herbs, veteran Army Officer KR Padha and Sardar Kulbir Singh briefed about the importance of plantation on the occasion.
Devender Sharma on the occasion stressed upon the people to follow traditional ways of treatment.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Anil Gaind, Ravi Dev Sharma, S Charan Jeet Singh and Deepak Sethi.
