In support of the battle that Hemant Soren is fighting in the Supreme Court, people from the Kolhan-Saranda region took to the streets today. People living in the Saranda forest area will not be allowed to suffer in any way. According to information, the Chief Minister’s main concern is the people living in the Saranda region. He is resolving disputes inherited from the past. “My main concern is the people living in the Saranda area. My fight is precisely for this – that those who planted the forests, those who protected them, should not be troubled by these rules and regulations. How long will we continue to harass tribals by binding them in regulations?
We are fighting and will continue to fight – we will keep fighting to protect the rights of the people there. We can even overlook mineral resources for some time, but there will be no compromise on people’s rights. Our government is going to court with the condition of protecting the rights of people living in that area. We will accept the court’s decision only when our humane concerns are considered. And let me tell you on the other hand that this battle is not just for the people there, but mine as well – we will make every possible effort to win it,” the Chief Minister said.
