JAMMU, Nov 17: A free cardiac screening camp was organized at Gurudwara Singh Sabha Jammu where Dr Swati Mahajan (DM Cardiology), Consultant & Interventional Cardiologist at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla, provided comprehensive cardiac care to the people.
During the camp, Dr Mahajan examined more than 100 patients. Participants received free consultations, ECG tests, blood sugar checks, and medicines, ensuring complete preliminary cardiac evaluation.
Dr Mahajan, recognized as an eminent interventional cardiologist and regarded as a daughter of the soil, highlighted the importance of early detection of heart diseases and community awareness.
She also announced that she will now be regularly available in Jammu for cardiology consultations, bringing advanced cardiac expertise closer to the people of the region.
