UDHAMPUR, Apr 11: A free disease screening camp was organised at Ramnagar, Udhampur by Healing Hands in association with Seva Dal and Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences & Hospital.
Under this camp the doctors and medical experts reached to the doorsteps of people in remote areas, providing much-needed diagnostic and consultation services to those who otherwise have limited access to quality healthcare.
The camp was inaugurated by MLA Ramnagar, Sunil Bhardwaj in the presence of Rajinder Sharma, district vice president Seva Dal and it witnessed an overwhelming response, with nearly 1,400 patients from Ramnagar and adjoining areas, turning up for comprehensive health check-up.
The camp offered a wide range of free screening facilities including Fibro-Scan, Spirometry, Neuropathy testing, Bone Mineral Density, Blood Pressure monitoring, ECG, eye examination and blood tests.
In addition to diagnostics, patients were also provided expert consultations and guidance by specialists, particularly focusing on lifestyle-related diseases.
The medical camp was led by noted Physician Specialist, Dr Rajesh Gupta along with a team of eminent doctors including Dr Puneeta Gupta and Dr Neeraj Mahajan, cardiologist, Dr Ankit Mahajan, gastroenterologist and Dr Shally Kandhari, ophthalmologist.
