JAMMU, Sept 28: National Conference (NC) today elected heads of District Committees of its Women Wing.
Kuldeep Kaur of Akhnoor was elected as district president of Jammu (Rural)-A unopposed in election where Asha Mehra, NC provincial vice president and Pinky Bhat, provincial secretary were observers.
Daljeet Sharma of R.S Pura was unanimously elected as district president of Jammu (Rural)-B in election where block president, Rekha Langeh and provincial secretary, Rashida Begum were Observers.
The election was held under the supervision of Vijay Lochan, Co-Chairperson NC SC Cell.
For post of Jammu (Urban), Pinky Khalsa was unanimously elected in election where Dilshad Malik, provincial secretary and Ex-MLA Swarn Lata were Observers. The elections were held under the supervision of Dharamvir Singh Jamwal, district NC president Jammu (Urban).
Sarpanch Asha Devi was elected unopposed as district president for Reasi. JMC Councillor Sucha Singh supervised the poll process.
Meanwhile, Shafayat Ahmed Khan was elected as district NC president Rajouri Urban in elections held in the presence of Rattan Lal Gupta, state NC secretary and Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, provincial secretary Jammu.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Bashir Ahmed Wani, Naseem Liaquat, Chairman DDC Rajouri, Muzaffar Ahmed Khan, Gh. Mohi Ud Din and others.
