HCT organises programme to promote Fit India Movement

JAMMU Aug 30: Humanist Charitable Trust (HCT) in connection with promotion of Fit India Movement organized a programme in village Nadrole of Bishnah block of Jammu district today.
Romesh Khajuria , BJP leader and vice chairman , Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (Ministry of Textiles) Government of India was the chief guest on the occasion. Children performed various physical activities which aims at encouraging people to include in their everyday lives to remain fit and healthy.
Romesh Khajuria said that the Fit India Movement is a movement to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. It provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. While addressing the gathering Khajuria stressed upon the need of doing physical activities like cycling , walking , running , yoga and other exercises in daily routine.
He said that Fit India Movement was started by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India on August 29, 2019 which has now become a nationwide campaign under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports , Government of India. Kishore Kumar , president, Humanist Charitable Trust and Mohan Lal Sharma also addressed the gathering.
