HC warns Div Coms of any violation of court orders

Srinagar, Mar 31: High Court today warned action against Divisional Commissioners of both Kashmir and Jammu Divisions in case any violation of court orders with regard to running of coaching centers is found.
“It is made clear that any violation of the court orders will be viewed seriously and action taken against the authorities”, said the bench of Justice MH Attar and Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey.
High Court earlier had directed the Government to close down all the unregistered coaching centers and tuition centers operating in the State and to submit a detailed report before next date in this regard.
Court had also directed for constitution of committee of officers, comprising Divisional Commissioner, Director School Education and Inspector General of Police for Kashmir Division as well as for Jammu Division.
“At the request of counsel appearing for coaching centers from Jammu time is extended by one week for filing undertakings”, reads the order.
Court also directed these court committees to file their compliance reports by next date preferably with regard to implementation of court orders and Government orders with regard to the coaching centers.
Another court committee of two retired district Judges was constituted by the court to verify the statement of those coaching centers who filed undertakings before Registrar Judicial indicating therein that they shall abide by the regulations and court orders while running their centers.
