JAMMU, Feb 2: High Court has stayed the investigation into the FIR lodged by the Crime Branch against the then SHO Vijaypur Police Station Ajay Singh.
The stay was granted in a petition filed by Ajay Singh seeking quashment of FIR registered by the Crime Branch under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 RPC and 5 (2) PC Act.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal issued notice to the respondents and ordered that till the filing of objections the investigation in the FIR shall remain stayed.
