JAMMU, Dec 21: In a petition filed by inhabitants of Trikuta Nagar challenging allotment of one kanal land to one Lt. Col Daljit Singh Dogra out of 371 kanals land meant for construction of road and beautification of the area on the both sides of canal passing through the Railway Station towards Gangyal, High Court today issued notice to Commissioner Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department, Secretary PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Chief Engineer Ravi Tawi Irrigation, VC JDA, Commissioner JMC and Lt Col Daljit Singh.
After hearing Advocates S C Subash and KK Pangotra for the petitioners, Justice Alok Aradhe ordered, “if respondent raises any construction, he shall do the same in accordance with law”.
