JAMMU, June 12: Justice Tashi Rabstan, Judge State High Court, Jammu Wing has issued contempt notice to G N Qasba the then Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Srinagar and presently attached with GAD, Civil Secretariat Srinagar and Tufail Mattoo Commissioner SMC, Srinagar with a direction to file compliance report on a writ petition filed by DAV Public Secondary School, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, Kashmir through its chairman T K Ganjoo.
The petitioner has prayed before the Court that the directions passed by State High Court in its order dated December 31, 2014 directing the grant of permission for raising boundary wall as well as reconstruction of two annexes within the premises damaged in September 2014 floods is being avoided although all other damaged buildings private/ commercial in Jawahar Nagar area have been granted permission except this building.
