JAMMU, July 11: In a contempt petition filed by Vijay Kumar seeking implementation of judgment whereby Division Bench had directed that four out of 209 posts in KAS shall go to OSC category, High Court today issued bailable warrants of Rs 10,000 against the Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department for securing his presence in the court on next date of hearing.
While issuing bailable warrants, Justice BL Bhat observed, “the respondent has neither filed compliance report nor has appeared in person to explain his position”, adding “in terms order dated May 31, 2013, it was made clear that in the event of judgment not being complied with and compliance report not being filed, coercive measures shall be resorted to for ensuring presence of the respondent in person”.
