HC announces 24 days winter break

JAMMU, Dec 18: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has announced a 24 days winter vacation, beginning January 1 next year, with January 1-10 period declared as “no-work period.”

Further, Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, Arun Palli, has nominated 4 Judges as vacation Judges to hear all the matters of urgent nature in both the Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Court.
As per an order issued by MK Sharma, Registrar General, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Sanjay Parihar will hear the urgent public matters in the Jammu wing between January 12 and 17 and Justice Rajesh Sekhri between January 19 and 24.
At the Srinagar wing of the High Court, Justice Shahzad Azeem will take up the urgent matters between January 12 and 17 and Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani between January 19 and 24, the order said.
