Hatli Police rescues 10 bovine animals

KATHUA, Apr 18: District Police, Kathua once again succeeded in foiling another bovine smuggling bid in the jurisdiction of Police Post Hatli and rescued 10 bovine animals.
Acting on tip off, today a team of Police Post Hatli led by SI Verinder Singh, Incharge Police Post Hatli intercepted one truck bearing registration Number PB08AQ 9766 near Maggar Khad falling in the jurisdiction of Police Post Hatli.
The truck which was on way from Punjab towards Kashmir was carrying bovine animals. During checking of the vehicle, Police rescued 10 bovine animals being smuggled in it but driver of the truck managed to escape. Police also seized the truck. Accordingly a case FIR No 139/2018 U/S 188 RPC ,3/5 PCA Act was also registered.
The police team was deputed by Inspector, Anil Sharma, SHO, Police Station, Kathua under the direct supervision of S.S.Sambyal, DySP, Headquarters Kathua.
The police action was carried out under the supervision of Sanjay Parihar Additional SP Kathua on the directives of SSP Kathua Suleman Choudhary.
