SAMBA, May 22: Acting tough against criminals, Samba police has booked a hardcore criminal under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged him in District Jail Udhampur.
The notorious criminal namely Mohit Singh, son of Govardhan Singh of Kehli Mandi tehsil and district Samba has been booked under PSA after obtaining formal detention order from the District Magistrate Samba.
The booked criminal has been subsequently lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
The criminal is involved in multiple cases registered against him at Police Station (PS) Samba and Police Station (PS) Vijaypur of district Samba. The repeated criminal activities of this hardcore criminal have posed a serious threat to public peace and tranquillity in the area.
