POONCH, Jan 19: The Haq Insaaf Council commemorated its 11th Foundation Day with a series of impactful events that celebrate national integration, youth empowerment and communal harmony.
The celebrations witnessed widespread participation from dignitaries, sports enthusiasts, and prominent civil society members. The day began with a Bike Rally, flagged off from Pritam Park by ADC Tahir Mustafa Malik and Colonel Vipin Prashar under the aegis of the 93 Infantry Brigade.
The Rally, promoting road safety and unity, concluded at Pritam Stadium. Helmets were distributed to the participants to emphasize the importance of safe riding. A two-minute silence was observed at Pritam Stadium to pay tribute to the Bravehearts who have made the supreme sacrifice for the nation, reflecting the solemn gratitude of the attendees.
The celebrations reached their peak with the Grand Finale of the Martyrs Premier League 2, held at Pritam Stadium. Brigadier Mudit Mahajan of the 93 Infantry Brigade graced the event as chief guest while Advocate Zeshan Syed, Chairman of Haq Insaaf Council, served as the guest of honour. The thrilling final match between Poonch Scorchers and Amjad Club saw Amjad Club emerge victorious, leaving the audience captivated.
A cultural program performed by the children of Indra Memorial School, Poonch, added a vibrant touch to the event, showcasing the region’s cultural richness and talent. Addressing the gathering, Advocate Zeshan Syed reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to fostering unity and empowering youth. Brigadier Mudit Mahajan commended the Haq Insaaf Council for its dedication to promoting national integration and communal harmony across Jammu and Kashmir.
Prominent civil society members, including Syed Zaki Haider, Surjan Singh, Dr Nusrat Shah, Owais Ganai, Aftab Choudhary, Vijay Kumar, Rafaqat Zingar, Nasir Ali, Masroor and others were present on the occasion, reflecting the community’s collective support for the Council’s initiatives.
