JAMMU, June 1: The 6th annual general body meeting of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT) was held here today.
The meeting was presided over by the patron-in-chief of the Trust, Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary in presence of chairman GDCT, Arshad Ali Choudhary and attended by a large number of Trustees.
The guests were warmly welcomed by Mohammad Sadiq Azad, general secretary of the Trust.
Sadiq Azad presented the annual report of Trust & School from May 2024- May 2025 through the Power Point Presentation detailing achievements made during the period, works executed and functions/events organized in GDCT & School, future projects and proposals conceived which was highly appreciated& lauded by all the Trustees with loud clapping.
Chairman Arshad Ali Choudhary while speaking on the occasion reaffirmed his resolve and commitment to make all-out efforts to carry forward the mission & fulfil the left-over ambitions and aspirations of Baba-e-Qoum late Dr Masud Choudhary.
Patron-in-chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary recalled the valuable contributions of Dr Masud Ahmed Choudhary in establishing the GDCT and role of the GDCT team in taking forward the pious mission of for upliftment and betterment of Gujjar Bakerwal Community, socially, educationally and culturally.

On the occasion, two resolutions presented by the chairman for making amendments in the rules and bye-laws of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust & Brigadier Khuda Baksh Memorial Public Hr Sec School were readout loudly Ch Inzar Ahmed Rana Trustee in the House.
The resolutions so presented were adopted and passed by the House.
Among others attended the meeting included Dr Shouket Mehmood Chowdhary, Ch Hanief Chouhan, Ch Shouket Javed, Ch Asif Khaliq Poswal, Ch Haroon Khatana, Habib Chowdhary, Dr Nasreen Akhter, Dr Naziya Ahmed, Faryad Choudhary, Ch Iftikhar Ahmed, Khursheed-ul-Islam, Master Mushtaq Ahmed, Prof Rukhsana Kousar, Dr Manzoor Hussain Pumbla, Ch Kaleem Ahmed, Ch Shakil Ahmed, Insp Javed Choudhary and Ch Jaffar Mustafa.
