Srinagar, Jan 7: President of National Conference, Dr Farooq Abdullah, today removed senior party leader and legislator from Gurez, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, from the post of district president Bandipora.

An order issued here by the NC said that on the directions of the party president, the district committee NC of Bandipora has been dissolved. The order has asked North Zone president, Dr Sajad Uri, to submit a new panel for district president.
Dr Sajad has been asked to submit a panel of 2 party leaders for the post of district president to the provincial president of the party by January 31 for necessary action.
The recent order of appointment of Mushtaq Ahmad Wani as block president of the NC Bandipora has also been rescinded.
