Gurdeep nominated to Hindi Advisory Board of Ministry of Earth Sciences

NEW DELHI, Dec 26: Gurdeep Singh , district general secretary BJP, Ramban has been nominated Member of the Hindi Advisory Board of the Ministry of Earth Sciences Government of India .
His nomination has been made by Union Minister in PMO with independent charge of Ministries of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh.
Gurdeep Singh has expressed his profound gratitude to Dr Jitendra Singh for nominating him as a member of Advisory Board .Terming the nomination as a matter of immense pride and honour, Gurdeep Singh said that it is a rare privilege to be associated with such a prestigious Advisory Body, which comprises distinguished Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha) along with senior and all eminent officials of the Ministry of Earth Sciences. He noted that the Board plays a crucial role in advising the Ministry on matters related to the promotion, progressive use, and effective implementation of Hindi in official work, in accordance with the Constitutional provisions and the Official Language Policy of the Government of India.
He described the nomination as not only a personal honour but also a moment of pride for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Gurdeep Singh stated that he would discharge his responsibilities with utmost sincerity and dedication and make all possible efforts to contribute constructively towards strengthening the use of Hindi in the official functioning of the Ministry of Earth Sciences.
