NEW DELHI, Aug 13: The wholesale gur (jaggery) market remained steady in the national capital today due to small demand amid restricted arrivals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled on last levels on some support.
Traders said there were not many activities in the market, therefore prices after moving either side on little buying and selling, pegged same on last levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,900-4,000, pedi Rs 4,100-4200, dhayya Rs 4,200-4,300 and shakkar Rs 4,300-4,400.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,400-3,450, chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,800-3,900 and dhayya Rs 3,150-3,175. (PTI)
