NEW DELHI, Sept 8: The wholesale Jaggery market closed on a steady note in the national capial today following sporadic buying against restricted supply.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market too pegged without any changes on little doing.
Marketmen said sufficient stocks position against scattered buying, mainly held prices unmoved.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,450-3,500, dhayya 3,500-3,550 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 2,800-2,875, chakku 2,850-2,925 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,050-3,100 and dhayya NT. (PTI)
