NEW DELHI, Apr 14: Quiet conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices after moving in a limited range on scattered deals, settled at previous closing levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too remained steady on small buying support.
Marketmen said scattered demand amid restricted arrivals, mainly kept prices unchanged.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,300-3,400, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,675-3,025, khurpa Rs 2,750-2,825 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,000-3,050 and dhayya Rs 3,050-3,100. (PTI)
