JAMMU, Aug 21: State president, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF), Anil Gupta today kick started the slab work of newly constructed community hall in Janipur, falling in Ward No 37 of Jammu West Constituency.
The hall is being constructed from Constituency Development Fund of MLA, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta on recommendation of Anil Gupta. In this regard Rs 13 lakh already stands released from CDF of the MLA.
The work was inaugurated by Anil Gupta in presence of senior citizens, management committee of Community Hall and senior JKDF activists.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Anil Gupta said, “One of the long pending demands of people has been fulfilled with the construction of Community Hall, which shall cater to the needs of people particularly poor ones who can not afford costly accommodation for performing their social and religious rituals.”
