Gupta inaugurates renovation work of pathway

JAMMU, Aug 6: Former Union Minister and MLA, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today  inaugurated  the renovation work of pathway cum park  from RRL to Shakti Nagar adjoining the banks of Ranbir Canal.  The pathway is  mostly being  used by morning walkers  for jogging and exercise.
Renovation of Pathway includes the construction of four shelter sheds, five platforms for exercises and installation of 36 benches. The renovation work of pathway of which the approximate cost is Rs. 9.50 lac is being carried out from CDF of Prof. Gupta.
State President, JKDF Anil Gupta and Senior JKDF activists were  among the renowned persons present on the occasion of inauguration of the renovation work. President Morning Walkers Association, Prof. Nargal was also present on the occasion along with the large  number of   people of the area.
Prof. Gupta, while addressing the gathering said, “my foremost preference will be to  complete all the pending development works of various areas of Jammu West Constituency. The steps are being taken to improve the conditions of roads, drains, electricity and water supply which are basic requirements of people. The concerned authorities are being moved to concentrate on the  grievances of people . Our efforts will be to meet all the demands related to community welfare and public interest issues before the onset of the 2014 polls.”
“The renovation of Pathway cum Park along the Ranbir Canal will be beneficial for the general public especially  morning walkers and joggers. The renovation shall add on the facilities and beautification of Pathway cum park. Every possible help and financial aid shall be provided till the completion of the work”. Said Prof. Gupta
Prof. Nargal (President Morning Walkers Association) expressed gratitude to Prof. Gupta for  start of  renovation work of Pathway from his CDF.
The  JKDF members present on the occasion were Murari Lal, Lucky Puri, Arun Khanna, Munish Khajuria,  Naveen Sharma, Ravi Mehra, Rakesh Gupta, Happy Sharma, Lovekesh Gondi, Abhishek Slathia etc..
