JAMMU, July 19: Prominent J&K entrepreneur, C.P Gupta, who is engaged in infrastructure development and tourism based projects, met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari and apprised him of the long standing issue concerning the withheld payments in PWD since 2017.
The Minister assured that the matter would be taken up with due seriousness and instructed his officers to look into the issue promptly and thoroughly.
Gupta also mentioned about the unprecedented developments undertaken in J&K under various road infrastructure schemes funded by the Ministry like projects under NHAI, BRO, PMGSY, CRF and other initiatives.
He said that there is a transformative impact of these schemes as these have helped regional connectivity and economic growth.
