JAMMU, Oct 30: Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul reviewed the arrangements for this year’s Darbar Move to winter capital, during his visit to Civil Secretariat, Jammu here today.
Director Estates, R.K. Koul, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. R.S. Sharma, Deputy Director Estates, Arun Manhas, Executive Engineer, Estates, Rashid Mustafa and senior officers of concerned departments accompanied the Advisor.
The Advisor enjoined upon the officers to complete all the face-lifting works being done in the Winter Secretariat before opening of the Darbar so that the departments there could function in a hassle free and conducive environment. He inspected the new light weight structures and 4 new clerical halls being constructed in the Civil Secretariat.
The Director Estates apprised the Advisor of the progress of various works being executed in the Secretariat. He also reviewed the face lifting works being carried out in the Civil Secretariat. He also went round various chambers of the Civil Secretariat and took stock of the ongoing renovation and maintenance works.
Mr. Gul directed the concerned officers and executing agencies to further gear up their men and machinery for timely completion of all the repair and renovation works so that the move employees may not have to face any inconvenience.
