JAMMU, Sept 1: Gurjeet Kour Ghuman, a poetess, an author and social activist from Jammu has been honoured by prestigious institution Gujarat Sahitya Academy and Motivational strips—World’s most active writers forum, for showing excellence at par with global standards.
She made it to the list of 350 writers from 80 countries across the world.
The honour was conferred to her as a part of literary programme approved by Chairman of Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Padam Shree Dr Vishnu Pandya and Shiju H Pallithazheth Founder Motivational Strips after extensive evaluation.
Gurjeet has won laurels in various literary platforms for her soulful writings which have featured in numerous national and International anthologies of poetry. Published author of collection of poetry ‘Elysian Petals’, she featured among top 100 debut authors in 2019.
Apart from literary contribution, Gurjeet has been associated with Non-Profit Organization ‘THE-SARA’ and as an social activist she has been contributing on various humanitarian issues.
