NEW DELHI: After sharing screen space with Emraan Hashmi in her debut film ‘Raaz Reboot’, actor Kriti Kharbanda will be seen as the female lead in Ashwini Dhir’s ‘Guest Iin London’.
Kriti, who will be seen opposite upcoming actor Kartik Aaryan in the movie, said, ‘Guest Iin London’ was very special to her. ”The film, ‘Guest Iin London. is very special to me and a very big thing, as I managed to get it a week after my first Bollywood film ‘Raaz Reboot’,” Kriti said.
Telling about her challenges on being an outsider in the industry, Kriti said,”It was very challenging for us. We both have our shares of struggles. They say it is a struggle to get your second film. Getting first is difficult but how you manage to get second is a much more difficult thing. So ‘Guest Iin London’ is all the more special to me. As an outsider its not very easy to survive here, you have to be little careful on how you place your steps, whats right and wrong, but its not impossible.”
When asked how working with Emraan Hashmi was different from working with Kartik, Kriti chuckled and said the question only made her laugh.
“It was very different. Emraan is a senior. I have got along with him, talked to him but with Kartik it was a different kind of a bond.We are of the same age, We both are outsiders, new to the industry, our careers have just started. So we have a lot of things in common. I can’t really compare someone who is so much senior with someone like Kartik who has just stepped into the industry,” the actress said.
‘Guest Iin London’ is an upcoming comedy film, written and directed by Ashwni Dhir. It stars Kartik Aaryan, Paresh Rawal, Kriti Kharbanda and Tanvi Azmi. It is produced by Panorama Studios.
The film is a comedy revolving around Kartik Aaryan’s character, who is in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend (Kriti Kharbanda) when Paresh Rawal and his wife (Tanvi Azmi), Kartik’s uncle and aunt, barge into his home as guests, setting off a laugh-riot. (AGENCIES)
