NEW DELHI, Mar 16: Guar seed prices on Monday rose by Rs 20 to Rs 5,429 per quintal in futures trade amid higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for April delivery climbed Rs 20, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 5,429 per quintal with an open interest of 50,850 lots.
Marketmen said higher bets by investors, despite a fall in spot prices, supported guar seed prices in futures trade. (PTI)
