Cong leaders join BJP in Ramban

RAMBAN, Mar 16: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul chaired an organizational meeting of the party’s district Ramban unit to review the ongoing and forthcoming party programmes and strengthen the organizational structure at the grassroot level.
The meeting was attended by BJP district president, Neelam Langeh, senior leader, Rakesh Thakur, Mohd. Saleem Bhat and other prominent party leaders.
During the meeting, a comprehensive review was conducted regarding the ongoing Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan training workshops being organized across the district. Addressing the meeting, Ashok Koul emphasized that a strong and disciplined organization is the backbone of the BJP. He said that the party’s continuous expansion and public trust are the result of its dedicated cadre, ideological clarity, and systematic training of its workers.
Koul said that the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan is a significant initiative aimed at further strengthening the ideological foundation and organizational capabilities of BJP workers. He asked the district leadership to ensure that the training programmes are conducted effectively so that workers remain well-equipped to serve the people and communicate the policies and achievements of the Government to the grassroots.
On the occasion, several senior Congress leaders also joined the BJP at the party office in Ramban. Prominent among them included Suraj Singh, Vikram Singh, Parshotam Singh, Malip Singh, Dharam Singh, Hem Raj Singh, Patyal Singh, Budhi Singh and Hari Singh.
Welcoming the senior Congress leaders who joined the BJP on the occasion, Ashok Koul said that the growing support for the party reflects the people’s faith in its ideology and leadership.
“Those joining the BJP today have reposed faith in the party’s vision of nation-first politics and development-oriented governance.,” he said.
Neelam Langeh said that the district unit is fully committed to strengthening the party and ensuring the successful implementation of all party programmes. He added that the continuous joining of leaders and workers from other parties reflects the growing popularity and credibility of the BJP in the region.
Rakesh Thakur, also welcomed the new entrants in the party.
