JAMMU, Apr 10: A delegation of the Jammu & Kashmir Grameen Bank Retirees Association, comprising Ghulam Rasool Bhat, Veer Ji Raina, Mohd Ayub Bhat, Bashir Ahmed Sofi, KK Saraf, today called on the Chairman of the Bank Sanjay Gupta.
During the meeting, the delegation submitted a detailed memorandum highlighting FPP, lien on staff accounts ,various issues and concerns affecting the retired employees of the Bank especially `Edbians’. The representatives apprised the Chairman of the hardships being faced by pensioners and urged for early redressal of their grievances.
The delegation emphasized the need for timely resolution of pending matters, improvement in post-retirement benefits, and ensuring welfare measures for the retired staff. They expressed hope that the Bank management would give due consideration to their demands and take appropriate steps at the earliest.
The Chairman gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that their concerns would be examined sympathetically and necessary action would be taken in accordance with rules.
