JAMMU, Oct 18: As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations marking 50 years of dedicated service by Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank, the J&K Grameen Bank Retirees Welfare Association, Jammu, organized a free full body profile test camp for its retired members.
The program was successfully held today at Atulaya Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Jewal Complex, Jammu, in collaboration with Atulaya Healthcare — a reputed name in diagnostic and pathology services in the region.
This special health initiative was organized as a token of appreciation and gratitude for the bank’s retirees, who have played a vital role in building and expanding the bank’s reach across rural areas over the past five decades. The camp included comprehensive diagnostic tests offered free of cost to all participating retirees.
Speaking on the occasion, S Dhanwant Singh, President of the J&K Grameen Bank Retirees Welfare Association, said: “This initiative reflects our commitment to the well-being of our retired colleagues. Their contributions have laid the foundation of what J&K Grameen Bank is today. As we celebrate 50 years of service, it is important to honour and care for those who have served the institution selflessly.”
Rashpaul Choudhary, General Secretary of the Association, emphasized the need for continued welfare activities for retirees, especially in the field of health and wellness.
