JAMMU, Dec 30: As a part of promotion and to encourage workmanship in cadre, Inspector General of Police Railways, J&K Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria, today ordered in-situ grade promotion to (30) officials of GRP-J&K, who have completed nine years of satisfactory service in one rank in the Police Department and were found eligible for the promotion. The said promotions were earlier approved by the Departmental Promotion Committee of Railways Police Hqrs J&K in pursuance to PHQ J&K order no. 250 of 2015 dated 29.01.2015 and in terms of the principle guidelines/criteria enshrined in SRO-14 of 1996 dated 15.01.1996, read with SRO-225 dated 04.07.1997.
The IGP Railways felicitated the promoted officials and hoped that they will work hard to serve the people and the department with the same zeal and dedication in future as well.
