JAMMU, Nov 17: The Jammu & Kashmir Government has withdrawn the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) powers earlier vested in the Joint Directors of Handicrafts Jammu and Handloom Jammu, as well as the Deputy Director (Administration) of the Handicrafts & Handloom Directorate Jammu.
According to Government order, the decision has been taken in compliance with a 2015 Finance Department order, and the DDO powers will now be exercised solely by the Accounts Officer of the Directorate with immediate effect.
