KATHUA, Sept 23: BJP MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia today said that the Government was working for the equitable development for all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir State.
This was stated by MLA after inauguration series of development works including inauguration of two Sulabh Sochalaya at Nagri Parole and Kathua Shaheedi Chowk respectively at the cost of Rs 27.00 lakh, inauguration of lanes and drains at Nagri at the cost of Rs 4.15 lakh, inauguration of one Tube Well at Pandori Nagri, distribution authority letter of Housing for all among 250 beneficiaries in first phase distribution of  IHHL authority letter among 891 beneficiaries costing Rs 1.55 crore.
MLA also released a book titled Aseer Kishtwari Hayat Aur Adbi Karname written by Dr. Yash Paul Sharma HoD at GDC Women Kathua besides flagging off Swacch Bharat Abhiyan at Kartar Public School Barnoti, Nagri Parole and Kathua in the presence of Vidya Sagar City Mandal Pardhan BJP, Rural Mandal Pardhan,  Narinder Kala, general secretary, Ravinder Singh, general secretary, Yuva Morcha, Sanjeev Verma, Kunti Madam, Indu Madam and all dedicated workers of BJP.
Jasrotia, while addressing the gathering said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government at the Centre is committed to the welfare of public. “The Government is working on the public welfare schemes keeping in mind the principle of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and the motto of present dispensation is to provide every basic amenity to the last person standing in the last row”. MLA claimed that State Government is also supplementing the efforts of Central Government by its tireless efforts towards the development of the State and the State is heading towards the new era of development. He also said that the package of 80 thousand crore was sanctioned for the speedily progress of the region and today this area is being developed as the hub of education by the allotment of premier institutes like IIM, IIT, which will go a long way for the uplifting of common masses. “The Government is committed to the equitable development of all the regions of State.”, he added.
He maintained that peace is imperative for overall development of the State adding “we all should strive hard and put in collective efforts in this regard”. Describing public participation as a potent tool in socio-economic transformation of an area, Jasrotia appealed the people to extend complete cooperation to the Government in achieving the goal and take the State on the path of progress  and prosperity.
