BJP takes dig at Mehbooba, Dr Farooq

JAMMU, Nov 18: BJP today demanded stern action against those politicians sympathising with terrorists and justifying the Delhi blast or their other activities of terrorism including some doctors.
Talking to reporters here, today BJP chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi, spokespersons Girdhari Lal Raina, Parimoksh Seth and Ankit Gupta said that those justifying the terror attacks deserve the same action as the terrorists.
Sunil Sethi, while making a strong dig at former Chief Ministers, Dr Farooq Abdullah who heads the ruling National Conference (NC) in J&K and Mehbooba Mufti president of People’s Democratic party (PDP) said that both leaders are justifying terror attacks and camouflaging the terrorists responsible for such heinous crimes.
He said by such statements they are encouraging the future generations in Kashmir to become suicide bombers which is totally unfortunate. He demanded tough action against those who support terrorism and warned that nation can’t be a silent spectator to this all but present Government is resolved to act tough against terrorism. Sethi said those supporting terror be taken to task under law of the land how influential they may be. He urged the police to strictly act against those who are supporting or justifying the activities of terrorists.
He said the security forces jawans, police personnel and other people who laid down their lives to keep this nation united the nation will not allow their sacrifices to go waste.
The BJP chief spokesperson while warning such politicians said any one doing politicking by justifying terrorism to remain in power are mistaken saying that country has now lost patience and such elements will not be tolerated any more. The recent attacks have shaken the country’s soul and entire nation wants that such elements be chased to finish so that no one can dare to resort to such acts in future.
Sethi said earlier it was said that the Kashmiris are unemployed and hence they have taken to arms but a doctor who was a topper has distracted from his path and became a part of conspiracy to become a suicide bomber. This way he has brought shame to nation especially Kashmir and Kashmiris, he added.
Girdhari Lal Raina, took Deputy Chief Minister to task for his uncalled for statements against opposition MLAs and termed his statements childish. “This shows he is not the Dy CM of the UT but of a constituency, as he is making non serious statements,” he added.
Raina asked Dy CM that instead of making such statements he should pay attention to governance and not dilute issues. He said NC Government is responsible for people’s miseries and it is misleading masses that Centre is responsible for the same.
Parimokesh Seth accused NC Government of its total failure in fulfilling the poll promises.
