JAMMU, June 8: In a meeting of Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) chaired by its J&K president, Rajesh Kesri here today discussed taxing of langar items for Amarnath Yatra, SSH has demanded that the Government should not tax the langar items.
The meeting was attended by Sanjeev Sharma, Balwant, Suresh Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar, Satpal, Om Prakash, Ghara Ram, Braham Singh, Darshana Devi, Vijay Devi, Rajni Devi, Neeru Devi, Geeta Devi and others.
Speaking in the meeting Kesri said that langar items are donated by devotees from various states of the country so these should not be taxed.
He emphasized the need to ensure the security of pilgrims undertaking Amarnath Yatra.
