JAMMU, Dec 19: The accumulations at the credit of subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at rate of 7.9 per cent for third quarter of the current financial year.
The order for revision of the rate of interest has been issued by the Finance Department, J&K Government, in pursuant to the notification number 5(1)-B(P)/2017, dated 23-10-2017, issued by the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
