JAMMU, July 23: The Government today revised Dearness Allowance of the State Government employees, who were still working in pre-revised pay scales, from 151 per cent to 166 per cent with retrospective effect from 1.1.2013.
Principal Secretary to Finance Department, BB Vyas today issued an order to this effect.
The order said the State Government employees including work charged and whole time contingent paid, who were working in regular time scale of pay drawing their pay in pre-revised scales or where new scales of pay are not applicable, shall be paid DA at revised rate of 166 per cent as against existing rate of 151 per cent.
The DA arrears from January 2013 to June 2013 shall be paid in cash in the month of July while 15 per cent increase in DA shall form part of monthly salary there onwards.
