SRINAGAR, Dec 4: The Government today rescinded 42 transfer, deputation and other orders issued by the outgoing Director Agriculture Kashmir, Choudhary Mohammad Iqbal.
The Agriculture Production Department has rescinded 42 orders issued by Director Agriculture, Kashmir between November 16 to 29.

Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, Shailendra Kumar ordered that these orders issued by Director Agriculture Kashmir from November are rescinded ab initio.
These orders were issued by Director Agriculture Kashmir who demitted the office on November 30.
These orders mainly involve transfer and postings of Junior Agriculture Extension Officers (JAEOs).
The Principal Secretary, APD has asked Director Agriculture Kashmir and Deputy Director Central Kashmir to furnish the details of other orders, if any, issued from November 16 to 30.
One of the orders issued on November 29 this year, a day before his retirement ordered swapping of postings of two officers.
The order issued by the then Director read: “In the interest of the administration and smooth functioning of the Government work, Hardeep Singh Dutta, Agriculture Extension Assistant on the establishment of the Chief Executive Officer Baramulla and Imran Khan Agriculture Assistant on the Establishment of Deputy Director Law Enforcement Kashmir shall swap their present place of postings with immediate effect. The officials shall deem to have been relieved forthwith.”
