JAMMU, Oct 16: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered a reshuffle in the Power Development Department (PDD), assigning additional charges to senior engineers for smooth functioning of the department.

As per a Government order issued by Financial Commissioner (ACS) Shailendra Kumar, Habib Choudhary, I/c Chief Engineer (Generation), JKPDCL Jammu, who was also holding the charge of Executive Director (E) JKPDCL, has been transferred and posted as I/c Chief Engineer (Transmission), JKPTCL Jammu. He will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director, JKPTCL, in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Javaid Ahmad Dar, I/c Chief Engineer (Generation), JKPDCL, Kashmir, has been assigned the additional charge of Executive Director (E) JKPDCL, besides his existing responsibilities.
Similarly, Vijay Kumar Balmotra, I/c Chief Engineer (Procurement & Planning), JPDCL Jammu, has been given the additional charge of Chief Engineer (Generation), JKPDCL Jammu, till further orders.
