LEH, Aug 1: The Administration of UT Ladakh has directed all Government officers and officials, including those from Public Sector Undertakings, to attend the Independence Day 2025 celebrations as part of their official duty.
Administrative Secretaries, Department Heads, and PSU Managing Directors have been asked to ensure participation of staff posted in Leh and Kargil districts, while Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, and Block Development Officers will preside over the events in their respective areas.
As per a circular, the main Independence Day function in Leh will be held at Polo Ground and presided over by the Lieutenant Governor, while the function in Kargil will take place at Khree Sultan Chow Stadium under the chairmanship of the Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil.
