JAMMU, Sept 28: The Government has invited the JCC representatives for talks over the issue of employees’ pending demands.
Confirming this, a senior member of the JCC Kursheed Alam told the Excelsior that he received a message from Secretary, GAD today that Government wants to discuss the issue of employees demands with the JCC members and a meeting has been fixed for Monday at 12.30 pm. He said, “we will welcome Government’s move if it is serious in resolving the employees’ issues. We had been given time up to September 30, 2012 by Government and if it failed to fulfill demands, the employees will be forced to go ahead with their proposed programme. Enough time has been given to Government,” he maintained.
Mr Alam further said that JCC has organized protest programme at Agriculture complex, Lal Mandi in Srinagar tomorrow. The employees will go ahead with their proposed protest programme, he added.
