JAMMU, Apr 23: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted a Union Territory Level Committee for implementation of National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) in J&K.
The committee, headed by Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production & farmers Welfare Department, shall implement, monitor and supervise the central sector scheme NBHM in J&K.
It shall implement Mini Mission-I, II and III as per the guidelines of NBHM and look after priority activities under the Mission led by the National Bee Board.
Director Agriculture Jammu/Kashmir. MD JKAGROS, MD JKHPMC, Secretary KVIC, Joint Director Apiculture & Mushroom Kashmir/Jammu and representatives of Forest Department, Tribal Affairs and ICAR are Members of the committee.
