JAMMU, Apr 20: National president Youth Janshakti and national spokesperson of the party, Sanjay Saraf today accused the administration and Government of India of its total failure to provide the voting rights to Displaced Pandits from Valley.
Talking to media persons here, he alleged that the administration overlooked the existing data with Relief Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir and deliberately unobserved the things with Election Commission of India.
Saraf, while expressing his concern over denial of voting rights to Kashmiri migrants, failure of Government to implement BPL/AAL schemes for migrants demanded immediate data processing within Relief Commissioner Migrants and Election Commission of India (ECI). The representatives of both the concerned offices have to sit and finalize the smooth process so that Pandits can cast their votes with systematic voting process without `M’ Forms, he added.
He said every time Kashmiri migrants have to suffer to fill Form ‘M’ which is nothing but harassment to them. “We demand to stop this harassment and dissolve Form ‘M’ process as the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner of Migrants is having complete data so there is no need of Form ‘M’ process which should be stopped with immediate effect.
He also demanded that Government should clear its stand on Below Poverty Line (BPL) as Kashmiri Pandits those who depend upon relief are also to be considering for BPL/AAY Schemes for displaced migrants from Valley.
