JAMMU, Apr 29: Former MLA Ramban and senior Congress leader, Ashok Kumar has said that the current COVID-19 crisis in the country is everyone’s war and becomes the responsibility of every well off and aware person to take care about the needs of under privileged citizens of the country.
In a handout Kumar claimed that the government has failed to save many innocent lives due to poor planning in post-first wave of the pandemic.
Ashok said that vaccination drive wherein every citizen between the age group of 18 to 45 years will be considered is going to be a herculean task.
He claimed that unrestricted private vaccination drive and deteriorating services at government hospitals may leave the poor people face uncontrolled vaccine prices.
“At such juncture, corporates, religious and quasi-religious entities must open their reserves and serve the poor using donations,” he maintained.
