JAMMU, Oct 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has extended the validity of its order regarding registration of bonafide migrants or Displaced Persons (DPs) for the purpose of issuance of Domicile Certificates, till May 15, 2025.
Originally issued vide Government order number 52-JK (DMRRR) of 2020, and subsequently extended vide several Government orders, the order allowed people to register as migrants or Displaced Persons to obtain a domicile certificate.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the extension in the validity of Government order number 52-JK (DMRRR) of 2020 dated May 16, 2020 extended vide Government order number 44-JK (DMRRR) of 2021 dated June 22, 2021, Government order number 30-JK (DMRRR) of 2022 dated June 10, 2022, and Government order number 56-JK (DMRRR) of 2023 dated August 17, 2023 for a further period of one year till May 15, 2025,” read an order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary to the Government, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Department.
