JAMMU: The State Government today enhanced relief of Militia Personnel and their widows.
”On the directions of Governor N N Vohra, the State Government has approved enhancement in rate of Militia Relief in favour of Ex-J&K Militia personnel and their widows”, official spokesman here said.
He said the relief rate has been enhanced from Rs 1500 to Rs 2500 per month in case of 168 J&K Militia personnel who had served for 15 years and more.
”Similarly, the relief rate has been enhanced from Rs1000 to Rs 2000 per month for J&K Militia Personnel who had served for periods less than 15 years,” he asserted. (AGENCIES)
