Srinagar, Sept 17: Reacting to the recent order issued by the J&K Administration, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) said that instead of treating the employees like family, they are being subjected to mental agony.
In a statement issued here, JKCSF and former president EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani said that employees are like the arms and legs of Govt machinery to implement policies of the Government.
“While they should be treated as a family structure, instead, in Jammu and Kashmir they are being continually subjected to mental agony by issuing psycho creating orders. Making an employee a suspect or vulnerable for verification based on family or relatives activities is unacceptable,” he said.
He said that JKCSF has already raised the issue that for the verification and disciplinary action about employees there are already CSR rules enough to govern the issues. “These authoritative orders are against the interests of employees in general and are liable to affect the function in Govt offices,” he said.
JKCSF has urged the Govt to roll back the order and provide a space for employees to work in a free and fair atmosphere under the norms of service rules.
